This was absolutely incredible. It was spacious with a large room and sofas and a separate kitchen and dining room, which had a table enough for 6 as well as a sofa and another tv. The host thought of everything for the kitchen, so you had mugs and plates and pots for cooking. The beds were very comfortable, and everything, including the bathroom was clean and perfect. The host was super helpful and friendly and the animals (peacocks, rabbits, ducks, chickens, goats and a dog!) around as well as the little outdoor bar and pub were an amazing addition to grab a beer after a long day of hiking or F1 watching at Spielberg. Could not recommend this enough and will definitely be coming back again.

Clean, nice and big apartment. All the rooms are big, the kitchen has all you need. The beds are confortable and the shower is big and great. There is also a big terrace with nice views which we didn't really use because it was freezing outside. The location was perfect for us, just 10-15 mins to Kreischberg ski by car. You also have supermarkets and restaurants around.

Nice cosy appartment for party of three people. Clean, spaceous, comfortable beds and sofa. We had a great time there. 10 minutes ride to get you to Kreischberg skiing resort, 5 minutes to get to Murau city.

Haus Mauken is a really spacious, fully equipped apartment complete with a large balcony and stunning mountain views. Even better, the hosts are wonderful and are really dog friendly, which can be hard to come by. The flat was dog-ready complete with water and food bowls, treats and a dog bed. Access to the sauna (complete with lounge chairs, shower, robes, etc.) was nice to relax in the evening and get rid of aches and pains from skiing! For our February skiing trip, Haus Mauken was less than a 20-minute drive to Kreischberg. For our family (2 adults, 1 child+dog!!), this was an ideal place to get away from the "hustle" of the ski lifts and Murau and experience a true winter wonderland in absolute solitude. Still having a lot of snow at the house (about 1350m in elevation) was a real plus as a warm(er) spell was rapidly melting the remaining snow on the valley floor.

    Very comfortable apartment, very pleasant owner, lots of space, great kitchen with many handy equipments which are super pleasant incl. very good coffee machine. Quick 15 min car travel to ski resort Kreischberg, 10 min to swimming pool with sauna in nearby town Murau. We also travelled one day a bit longer for ski resort Katschberg and we visited thermal pool with saunas in Bed Kleinkirchheim (1hour travel).

    Photos on booking don’t do justice to what apartament really looks like! We were very positively surprised on the size and spaciousness of the apartment. Also apartment is spotless clean and fully equipped- you have everything you could dream of including coffee machine and kitchen scale! We came for winter holidays to ski in Kreischberg area- it is 15 min by car to the parking - so location wise it is also great option. Renate - the owner- is very helpful and hospitable, we felt like home:) thank you Renate for everything!

    Renate, the owner is super friendly, and helpful. The apartment is fully equipped, especially the kitchen, and there is also a ski room for the equipment with a heated boot dryer. The apartment is in a valley next to the river Mur with a beautiful view to the mountains. Kreischberg ski lift is close, approximately 15 mins by car.
