We feel very lucky to have found Chalet Valerie for our little family vacation. The apartment was clean and comfortable with an incredible view of the mountains and a beautiful, well curated garden. The apartment is perfectly located with easy access to town and hiking/biking trails. And the owner is very kind and accommodating.

We could have greatly appreciated the beauty of Zermatt from just inside the house. The location is just right, not too far from the center of the town and we take that as an opportunity to do some light exercise to go into the town for shopping.

    Wonderful location with amazing views, and walking all around from the doorstep. A well stocked Co-op is a short 10 minute walk away. Easy to access Zermatt for a day out on the highest viewing platforms and ice cave. All the facilities we needed for a short stay, and great to have patio area to sit out on in the sunny afternoons. The map on booking.com is not quite far enough up the road, the what 3 words location is miles.bulldozer.span if this helps find it exactly.

    The apartment is very modern, luxurious and clean. The kitchen is very complete, we cooked nice meals that we consumed at the terrace. Grächen is great for hikes in the mountains.

The hosts are really friendly and are attentive to everything you may need. The town, Grächen, has a perfect location to visit the Zermatt and Saas-Fee valleys, and still be quiet.     Very well equipped- absolutely everything you needed for self catering in a small neat apartment with thoughtful extras like binoculars and maps. Amazing view from the balcony of the Weisshorn. Well priced. Nicely decorated and located in a beautiful resort in a stunning area of the Swiss Alps. It was ideal for my needs.
