Exceptional in every way. The most spectacular ocean views, gorgeous landscaping, beautiful gardens including a zen garden with a koi pond, everywhere you turn there is a beautiful spot to sit and admire the view. Very tasteful and beautiful Bali style decor with much attention to detail and colorful fresh flowers all around. Approximately 200 steps through the jungle take you to the river and one of the most beautiful waterfalls. Great swimming pool and hot tub. Very nice french hosts. The most delicious buffet breakfast with an array of delicious desserts: crepes with homemade chocolate sauce, french blueberry pastry, crème brulee and chocolate mousse! Definitely our best weekend escape ever! Hope to return soon.

Everything was above expectations! This place is magical. Views are stunning and the Interior design compliment the whole environment. Don’t hesitate to book! You won’t regret it. We were sad to leave. Our hosts were very attentive to all the details and definitely made our stay a bliss! We have two kids, they enjoyed as much as we do. Our son of 9 yo told us that he will keep that beautiful place as an inspiration for his Minecraft project ;-) On a side note they can provide a breakfast. A delicious breakfast that could compete with a luxurious hotel, Variety, Taste and Quality.

Gorgeous property and room, felt like you had your own little Shangri-la. We loved our room (Monkey House) with the beautiful outdoor patio with kitchen and private jacuzzi, all overlooking the jungle with views to the ocean. We enjoyed just spending time listening to all the sounds of the jungle and watching the beautiful tropical birds. The entire property is stunning with beautifully landscaped gardens, pool, vista deck, and common kitchen/dining area. Hosts are very responsive and lined up a mangrove tour and a fishing/whale watching tour for us that were outstanding. We also celebrated my husband's birthday with an amazing breakfast/brunch that Virginie beautifully prepared. Just ask in advance, you'll be blown away - at $25/pp it's all quite special.

I booked last minute and the hosts were very responsive for as late as it was. I came in and was immediately set up with a room of my choosing. They were very nice. In the morning Parrots flew into the trees within the grounds during my breakfast.

Montse was by far the best host in Costa Rica. My husband and I went on our honeymoon in September, and part of our Costa Rican journey was in the beautiful Uvita. There, we stayed at Montse's villas, which was absolutely magical! The villas are located in the most breathtaking place, each provides its own parking space, and contains two floors. Downstairs there is a well-staffed kitchen with a small living room, and upstairs; a bedroom, a shower&bathroom with all its vanities and a good shower stream( a big deal in costa Rica")!!, and the icing on the cake - a personal balcony to take it all in. It's basically a little home, rustic and warm yet new in its design, and the bedroom is massive. The views and the nature surrounding grants the most amazing feeling of peace, excitement, and wonder. if all wasn't appealing as is, the property has its own restaurant which is specialized in traditional Catalonian food, which is open for locals and for you ;). We arrived at Uvita mostly because we wanted to experience whale watching, and Montse helped us book it right away at half the price we originally planned on spending. She and her husband were the kindest hosts helping us with anything we needed and making us feel so welcome in their home. Our time there was like a dream, as if you arrived to a little slice of heaven, and we would come back in a heartbeat! And to our graciuse host: Te queremos mucho, GRACIAS por lo que eres!!! Te deseamos felicidad y toda la suerte del mundo! Pura Vida❤️
