The property was just lovely! So spacious and pretty, the bath was fabulously. And dog friendly which was a big plus for us. The owners has a pub right next door and he kindly invited us in for a bite to eat which was also delicious and good value.

Quite clever in the use of space! And lovely little touches like treats for our dog, crocs for putting on your feet to leave muddy boots at the bottom of the stairs, etc. Created with a lot of thought.

The apartment is in a great location, centre of town and with its own parking space. Easy access, being a ground floor apartment, very clean and comfortable. An ensuite to each of the bedrooms was very nice. We stayed when there was snow and ice and it was lovely and warm. Friendly owner, Diane, who checked everything was ok.

I is a nice little apartment. The front door is just off the main street, but the rooms look onto the street, so is a very convenient location. and the welcome basket was so lovely

    Clean, well equipped and great showers. There is a secure bike store that has room for wet tents. Car park is fine. Our apartment had air fryer microwave hair dryer; all either new or meticulously cleaned. We foolishly lost our key but Host was lovely and no drama. Great stop over and we could not have asked for more.

    A lovely location and our host was great. We were cycling the coast to coast and had planned to get a take away not realising the nearest would be miles away. Our host came to check we had everything we needed and when we asked about take away she explained we would not get one. Not only did she check her own freezer for something for us but then drove us to the shop several miles away. She gave us loads of great local info and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable.

    Really nice, clean and comfortable little apartment in the heart of the village. Even has aircon if you're lucky enough to have warm weather! Great to have parking too. Even though the weather was a bit changeable, we walked out each day, it's a lovely and interesting area with Hadrian's wall just up the road, easy access to the lakes or up into Scotland.

    What beautiful scenery. The space was great for ourselves and two dogs. Very tastefully furnished, just loved the apartment. Lovely local walks. Would love to return for a longer stay to explore the area, rather than a stopoff on way back from Wales.

    The apartment has everything that you would need for a short stay. It is very comfortable, spacious, clean, bright and warm (which was great considering it was cold outside). The location is ideal for M6, Carlisle, Hadrian's Wall and takeaways/pubs in Brampton.
