It was a little confusing figuring out how to get into the apartment at first. Other than that the place is beautiful and very well appointed. We had some difficulty with my elderly mother and the stairs, the step into the bathroom and the shower being slippery. These are things we have to consider with an older person. Otherwise we loved it and would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Felixstowe. The location couldn't have been better.

If you want a cosy retreat right on the beachfront this is the place for you. Excellent facilities, clean with a very comfy bed. I cannot recommend Sea View Studio enough. The host was extremely helpful, I left my jacket in the wardrobe (didn't realise until he contacted me) and he couldn't be more helpful. I will definitely be returning if I'm working in the area again, I block booked 3 more week after my first stay.

Very cosy, warm and inviting place to stay. Well equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer and comfortable lounge and bedroom. Bathroom was clean and of a good size. Hosts kept open communication during my stay when required.

I loved the sea view, the 4 patio doors that are in the living area which lead onto the spacious balcony and AstroTurf flooring, the modern yet classic design, the maritime feel, the ships lights at night, the sofa which gives a brilliant relaxing view over the sea, lovely at night - to classic FM on their smart TV and the little lamp on... perfect. We never closed the curtains as the view was so comforting. It took me back to the 80s when I used to live in the area. The light house is a real time landmark for me as I was baptised there in the sea as a kid at the Olive Tree Christian Fellowship (back in the 80s) and the beautiful pictures of that same lighthouse in the flat was perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better. The picture in the 2nd bedroom (with twin beds) had the old pier that I used to walk on as a kid with my dad, this really was the cherry on the cake. Words cant describe the absolute tribute to Harwich that flat is. Amazing place. If you want to feel the spirit and vibe of Harwich in a modern, yet cosy, warm and classy way, then this is the place I recommend. The host laid on a decent bottle of M&S gin and rose, some chocolates and shortbread, not expecting that at all. We are very grateful and wish the hosts many more years of health and happiness. Don't go anywhere else!

    Beautiful seaview, lovely space that had everything we needed. Loved the styling of the flat, especially with the local art/design touches, made it much more special than the generic 'niceness' of commercialised airbnb-type stays. Good curtains that were near blackout in main bedroom. Wifi speed was solid for work/video calls. Walking distance to convenience store/supermarket and a range of food: go to Alba Chiara for dinner and Gulliver's Wife for brekkie/lunch!

    Great location, just set back from a busy road. Everything in the Studio apartment is set out perfectly. Although quite small, everything is laid out well, giving all the amenities you need with plenty of space. A fully functioning kitchen including a washing machine which comes in very handy.

    Wow! Wow! and more Wow! This is an absolute gem of a place. The location is spectacular - directly opposite the beach. The studio apartment is perfect. Parking is available. Donna (the host) keeps the apartment lovely and cosy with the heating on. There are lots of helpful notes around so that you aren't bewildered at all! I will definitely be back!
