The host hospitality was outstanding. Very very steep hill and took us shopping to the local supermarket. He sat and had a coffee while we shopped, so there was no pressure to rush .

Everything was great. The apartment is clean and well-maintained. Just 5 minutes from the city center. There is free parking and a nice terrace. The host is wonderful. I booked the accommodation on the day of check-in, and the host arrived within 10 minutes.

    It was a nice modern apartment with great bathroom facilities, a kitchen with everything you need (stove, microwave, coffee machine) and a big balcony with amazing views. The (shared) swimming pool downstairs was very nice and clean with parts in the shade as well. The host Niko was an amazing person who transferred us from and to the bus station with love! We enjoyed our stay a lot and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

    Ivan and his wife were so nice, helpful and friendly. The studio apartment was spotless and so convenient with the beach right behind it and the ferry’s to the islands only 5 minutes away. My sister and I really enjoyed our time in Makarska. Five stars to Ivan and his family. Would definitely book Villa Rubcic again.

    Lovely hostess met us to.make sure we found the apartment, allowed us to check-in early and gave us welcome gifts of a rose and a cold beer 🍺 ! Perfect little studio with terrace overlooking rooftops and minutes walk to the church and magical old town.
