I stayed at Orchid Mews for two nights over the weekend while taking part in a local marathon, and it was absolutely perfect. The setting is incredibly peaceful—ideal for relaxing and recharging after a long run. The family who runs it are so warm and welcoming, which really added a personal touch to the stay. The facilities are spotless and very comfortable, with everything you could need for a short break. I’d definitely recommend Orchid Mews to anyone looking for a quiet, friendly place to stay near Castletown Geoghegan.

    Very nice apartment, clean and comfy, exactly as on pictures. Friendly and thoughtful host, she provided us with yummie breakfast (love scones...) and was very considerate concerning allergies and vegetarian choices. We prepared breakfast ourselves in our kitchen, had everything we needed for that and more, that worked perfectly for us! Also she was very quick to answer any questions that came up when we texted her. Very comfy bed too!

    Lovely, cute little apartment. We had an amazing few days, spending time with family, then returning to our cosy space. It’s such a peaceful location, birds singing and two wonderful friendly dogs to greet us. The bed was so comfortable! Would definitely recommend.

    I stayed here with group friends from arriving to leavin owner was exceptional fantastic lady😊 unfortunately we were only staying 1 nite as we were goin out dancing to the well in moate a d heading shearwater following nite .we had everything we needed in apartment beautiful and It was immaculately clean . .😊

    Great place to stay if you are crossing Ireland from East to West or opposite direction. We have been taken care by the host and her family. Owners are very helpful and you will find everything family with kids needs at the apartment and surroundings.
