The room is indeed cozy and has a big window, which opens on the complex's backyard. The view is calming - a wall o trees, green lawn and at this time of year many birds singing and chirping. I was there for 2 nights and there was complete silence, as if there were no people living in any of the apartments. The room has a small desk and a vanity, as well as a wardrobe. The lower bed could be still comfortable for 2 people. The mattress was soft and comfortable. I was travelling alone, so did not use the upper bed. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower option, towels provided smelled reaaly fresh. There is also a kitchen with a balcony, which I used to prepare one breakfast and an evening snack. Free Wifi. I was allowed to use the hallway as storage for the day after my check out, since my flight was in the evening and I used the day to visit more in the area. Good vibes in general, Helena was easy to reach out via Whatsup. What's also important - 15 minute walk to the Malahide Castle & garden. 30 minute walk to the Malahide centre/marina and a bit more to the beautiful beach. One day I walked by coastline 4km (from Malahide centre) one way to Portmarnrock, along the way breathtaking views of the Irish see.

Host was super quick to respond to my messages. My husband and I arrived fairly late in the evening after being on Howth Island for dinner, it was so convenient not having to check in with a physical person. We could come and go as we pleased. You have complete privacy. The apartment was perfect for our needs. The décor is very stylish and comfortable, with special little touches that the host provides like a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules and milk which was much appreciated, plus an added bonus of large fluffy bath towels (an absolute luxury, rare to find when you are travelling). The location is perfect, you are not in the centre of Dublin, yet its easily reachable by bus, or a 30 min drive by car. Perfect if you plan on visiting Howth, as its only 10km away and a very easy drive. I highly recommend spending some time in Howth if you like the seaside, cliffs and nature. I wish I had found this accommodation earlier in my search, it is so perfectly located for what we needed that I would of loved to have spent an extra night.

    The location is fabulous. The flat is on the marina in the centre of Malahide, a short walk from the shops, restaurants and cafes. The flat is comfortable and well furnished. We appreciated there being tea, coffee, salt, pepper and some oil and spices already in the cupboard.
