Ladispoli was great for this, and the apartment was perfect, both close to the station and close to the beach. It was big and contained everything we needed for our stay. The interior decor made it feel like a genuine flat people live in, in contrast to an impersonal hotel room - it felt almost like visiting a grandmother. Nice balcony. We had dinner on the terrace, had a seafood barbecue, and an excellent selection of seafood in a nearby store. Very good hosts, charming and hospitable, helped us as best they could.
