We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful apartment surrounded by nature. The property is in excellent condition—spotlessly clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was genuinely functional and easy to use. Of the five places we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka, this was by far our favorite. The kids enjoyed the stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. Rumaiz was warm and attentive, making sure we felt welcome throughout our visit. Thank you, Rumaiz—we truly enjoyed our stay and hope our paths cross again.

Huge 3 bedroom apartment with living room and big fully equipped kitchen.Delicious breakfast served in upstairs dining room but the best part was a hosting family.. The most friendly and helpful people. The location was a little bit difficult to find but we called our host and received directions how to get there with no problem,after that son of our host drive us where we need to go including the train station next day. This property is located on one of the hills, surrounding the city so the view is so beautiful from the balcony.

Our host Ashoka was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for him. We could walk to the shops,post office and a bakery. Main attractions were a short taxi drive away. It was a wonderful stay in a family apartment.

This was truly a hidden gem, we loved everything about our stay at Kandy River Lodge. The apartment was spotless with essentials for cooking if required. The view of the river from the balcony was beautiful. The host had water bottles tea and coffee available to us and offered us a complimentary transport from the train station. The host was available to help with any requests and very responsive. If you are staying in Kandy I would definitely recommend staying at Kandy River Lodge. If we get the opportunity to come back to Kandy we would definitely book again

We lived here for 7 days. It was a pleasure: large apartments, quiet, calm. Very nice host couple: they were welcoming and very helpful with all questions. Special thanks for delicious snacks and equipment of the apartments. Today - this is one of the best places on the island where we stayed. The week flew by very quickly and was a pleasure. Villa is very beautiful and comfortable, the views are great, and our host - Laksitha is such a cool guy. The building is new and fully equipped. If you like, it's possible to arrange tours in the very competitive prices to other agencies or apps, with the neighbour of the house. You can also play with cute and friendly dog living there.
