The apartment is very spacious, it also has a private balcony with a nice view to the jungle full of monkeys, squirrels and birds. Vinu's Place is little bit remote from the busiest part of the town - I was surprised at the beginning, but then it made our stay even better. The hosting family is extremely hospitable and caring. They helped with everything from scooter rental to clothes washing and made us such delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts - we were even joined by a Peacock! Short walk to the beach in a peaceful area. Vidu took us to the local temple which was beautiful and enlightening. Everyone went above and beyond for us and we felt like family. The kind of place you are very sad to leave. The family were so nice and generous. The wildlife you can see from the balcony is amazing, langurs, macaques, peacocks and all different types of birds. Including a momma cat and her two skinny kitties we ended up feeding a lot! 🥲💔highly recommend this place.
