I had the pleasure to be the first guest of clayleaf apartments and I loved my stay here so much! It felt like my second home away from home, the apartment is super stylish and Danujaya put so much love in this place with attention to details. He and his family are very kind (for example one night his mother cooked dinner for me) and Danujaya replied fast to my messages and was very helpful. He is planning on opening a café upstairs and opening four more apartments. The apartment had everything I needed - a kitchen, a small outdoor area, a cozy bed and a nice bathroom. I stayed here for almost three weeks and I will for sure return here when I come back to Sri Lanka. Thank you Danujaya 🌞

We booked 2 apartments for 15 nights and the whole experience was amazing. We were met by the host upon arrival and he was present and helpful throughout the whole trip (even when we needed help finding a doctor nearby). Location is 10 minutes away by foot from the Ocean and all cafes and restaurants. There's always tuk tuks present nearby in case you need to travel somewhere else. The host can also help you with renting bikes or booking trips and experiences. There are no clubs or bars next to the building, so there's no music playing at night unlike at many other AirBnb's in Weligama. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some quality time in Weligama.

I had an amazing stay at Villa Wellia with my girlfriend! The property had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The outdoor spaces were definitely a highlight—having a private pool, sun terrace, and garden made it perfect for spending quality time together. The villa itself was super well-equipped. The kitchen had everything you’d need, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and really cosy. The room we stayed in had a private, massive bath that could easily fit four people. It was in an area surrounded by plants, completely covered on all sides but open to the sky. It felt like having a bath in the jungle—something I’ve never seen before. It was such an amazing and romantic experience! Another thing worth mentioning is the strong-pressure hot shower. This is not always a given in Sri Lanka, but if you love a good shower like I do, you’ll be very pleased here. We also had the chance to take private surfing lessons with Santa, the owner of the property, at Ama Surf School. He was hands down the best guide I’ve come across on the island. I’ve tried surfing lessons elsewhere before, but nothing compared to this experience—Santa’s guidance was outstanding, and it made the lessons so much fun and effective! The staff were extremely polite and helpful, always making sure everything was taken care of. Having private security and housekeeping on-site for every request was a huge plus—it really made the whole experience feel even more luxurious and stress-free. Overall, it’s a brilliant place to stay, and we’d 100% come back again!

Spacious and clean apartment annexed from the family home next door. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful, and even gave us ice-cream at the end of our stay. Such a lovely, kind family. There is a beautiful garden and the house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood very close to the centre of town and only a five minute walk away from the beach. Highly recommended!

The hosts were so friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It was perfect location from the beach and had a lovely balcony. Breakfast was yummy and filtered water tank was very handy. The room had everything you needed: mosquito net and AC. They also began doing board rentals too which was great!

Literally right off the beach, couldn't ask for a better location. The host was very welcoming and made sure I was happy the entire stay. I also left something in the apartment (although I did not need it anymore) and they messaged to say they would be happy to post it. Would be recommend

RECOMMEND :-) Spacious apartment. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, hot shower. Very green garden to look at from balcony. Good location, 10 min walk to shops, 5 min drive to beach. Great host, good and fast communication, cheap scooter rental from him, laundry service, and he drove us further south with his Tuktuk.
