I was looking for a place to stay in the West of Mauritius but was hesitant to book Tam Studio following all the negative reviews in a row below. However, i’m glad that i booked for one night. I honestly dont understand why there were so many negative reviews. It is a cosy apartment furnished with all the facilities one could imagine. Quality service is provided for such an affordable price. When i arrived, I was greeted by the owner, Mr Raaz who was very welcoming and even suggested places to visit in Mauritius. He is very kind and was always available by phone. I have stayed in many places across the world but never met someone as kind and as dedicated as Mr Raaz. Even though i did not book the car and airport transfer in advance, he tried his best to rent me a car and even organised the airport transfer at a very affordable price. I would definitely stay longer at Tam Studio during my holidays next time. Thank you Mr Raaz!

The appartement/studio is completely new and is situated in the north of La Gaulette. This is the perfect spot for a lot of advetures in the south of Mauritius. The appartement owner was available whenever we needed something. It was super clean, spacious, and we would definitely book again. The kitchen is fully equipped so its easy to cook yourself. Air conditioning is good.

    The apartments are amazing. Swimming pool is very nice and all the amenities you need for a perfect stay. You can perfectly hang around a full day at the property. Otherwise le morne beach is close by which also perfect. I would recommend renting a car on the island because its the easiest te get around.

    Amazing view from apartment balcony of garden, large swimming pool, a golf course, the sea and mountains. At rear of apartment view from bathroom window of Le Morne mountain summit. Very secure location with plenty of parking. Close to large public beaches and starting point for walk up Le Morne mountain. Public beaches good for Kite Surfing. We snorkelled near white wall at start of nearest public beach where we saw turtles. A very short walk from excellent local resturant. A short drive to the Black River Gorges National Park.

    The rooms were lovely and very clean. Very peaceful apartments. The staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. You needed a car to get around which was fine for us as that’s why we booked here to go exploring in the area.

    The apartments are spacious and have a well functioning kitchen. We were in apartment 6 and had a very large patio area, that functions as a living room with an amazing view. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again when visiting the LeMorne area in Mauritius.

    Everything was great from the start - I arrived early morning after an overnight flight and was able to check-in immediately despite being several hours before check-in time. The studio was spacious and clean, all amenities. Ben and his wife were very helpful giving me advice and info on how to get around, with Ben offering lifts before then arranging a rental car for me, as well as transfers to and from the airport.
