Comfy bed, nice living room area, kitchen with all important necessities. Also the bathroom offered some nice small items like body lotion, shower gel and shampoo. There is also a hairblower. The location is also good. Really close to the old town of Alkmaar and the Kaasemarkt. We arrived by train, meaning we had to walk from the Alkmaar Stationsweg train station to the apartment for about 20min. Immaculately clean, beautifully furnished with everything you would want in a holiday apartment. Wine and biscuits as a lovely welcome gift, comfortable bed, lots of hot water for a shower or bath, well appointed kitchen... gas cooker, a chef's delight. We felt so at home, so secure and in the centre of the old town but in a lovely, quiet street. Can only highly recommend and will definitely return. Alkmaar is a beautiful town with much of the charm of Amsterdam, but much less busy and touristy.
