Perfect location and accommodation! I booked on short notice and the check in process was so easy. The hosts were easy to contact and very lovely. The apartment was absolutely perfect with the comfiest bed and everything you could need. Highly recommend.

was a wonderful space with lots of space and in a lovely location the owners were even more wonderful, offering us a free meal in town due to them being around the property working to upgrade the space with a washing machine area, which didn't intrude on our stay but they wanted to ensure our stay was pleasant, which was very sweet of them.

The location is beautiful and the same for the rooms. Absolutely an amazing place to stay. The breakfast was also very good! Great place to stay with a very friendly host.

We really enjoyed the outside bath and bubbles.It was nice and quiet and the sound of the birds singing in the bush.lovely and clean bed was really comfortable and the heating was excellent.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the The Orchard; the hosts Maggie and Chris were extremely welcoming and the unit itself was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was great and the bonus tour of the orchard was fantastic. We now have an appreciation of avocado growers - and can now identify the different types of avocados we see in the supermarket!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karapiro. The accommodation was excellent through out, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Tanya and Ian have put a great deal of thought and effort into making their guests stay relaxed and very welcoming.

Really great B&B in Matamata, very close to Hobbiton. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen fully equipped, everything was clean and tidy and the free onsite parking was much appreciated. It's also good value for money. The owners are very lovely and close by in case of any questions or problems, of which there were none. Perfect for a stop-over or even staying for a few days to explore the area. I would definitely stay here again.
