We had an excellent stay at Apartma Ob stari murvi in Sežana. The house was very nicely decorated and well-equipped and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Private, very quiet and some good restaurants in walking distance. Our car was parked on the property behind a gate that can be closed. The welcoming by the host was really good, making us feel right at home. On the kitchen table was a welcoming gift: A bottle of wine, juice, several different cuts of delicious cured ham and fresh bread. We had choosen Sežana because it is near Trieste and near the beautifull Skocjan caves. Yes, we highly recommend this apartment!

The location was good as we were heading to Croatia afterwards. Ready access to Trieste as well as Ljubljana. Quite close to the caves. A bit further for Lake Bled and Bohinjsko. The Soca valley is relatively close too. Surrounded by a vineyard the location was peaceful and quiet. The hosts were super. They had very little English and we had no Slovene but it did not matter. Very warm welcome and we all enjoyed the chat.

An amazing place in an absolutley outstanding area, host was super friendly and gave the option of air con at 2 euro pn, definitely worth it! Apartment was set in a well maintained private courtyard shared with around 2 other apartments. Outside of the court yard there were farms, vineyards and lots of animals including a bull who we sneaked past slowly in the car and a friendly cat who wanted to visit my room but of course I had to decline ! Free parking in a small but ample area outside the courtyard, enough restaurants nearby to have a choice of where to eat.

Fantastic apartment, completely new (or rennovated) - very spacious and the hosts paid attention to every detail while furnishing the place. Everything is very modern and comfortable. Exceptionally comfortable bed, with real quality bed linnens. The kitchen is a big plus, and the bothroom is very spacious with a walk-in shower I could have my morning coffee on the terrace - the view is amazing. The hosts were also very helpful with information on what to visit. The hosts own a great wine cellar - I strongly recommend to combine your stay with wine tasting (you can sit and drink in a 200 years old dried up well, almost - it's simply amazing). I particularly loved their red bubbly - red teran sparkling wine. I also had breakfast (it is my understanding that you can pre-order breakfast, but only over the weekend) - it was really tasty with organic, home-produced food
