Only a 10 minute walk from where the buses stop (to other cities in Albania, and to Montenegro). The host Medi lives in the same building. A really helpful guy who met us on arrival, and gave us lots of info on nearby restaurants and cafés, what to see in the city, and where to get a SIM card!

This apartment definitely had the best value for the money of all accomodations I've ever stayed at - and there were hundreds during seven years of travelling. The location was close to the centre, the size was huge and there was everything needed even for long stays. It had aircon units in the living room as well as in the bedroom, there's a washing machine and even a dishwasher, an oven and a hotplate, a fridge with freezer, a TV, a big couch, a table with 4 chairs and on the balcony another small table with 2 chairs - really everthing. And there was this amazing view from the balcony on the 8th floor overlooking the whole city with the Rozafa Castle and the surrounding mountains! The building has 2 lifts, so there are hardly any waiting times, and they have an underground car park, where I could safely lock my bike. There's a supermarket and a cafe in the building and a bakery right across the street. I planned to stay 1 or 2 nights, but ended up staying a whole week. This place is highly recommended!
