It is walkable to many attractions and good restaurants in the center. Although it was a last minute booking, Medi went out of his way to secure the parking spot and had us feeling home. We enjoyed the chat with his lovely father who used to live in my country for a while back in the day. Medi gave us recommendations and helped us with all sorts of queries about Albania.

The location was close to the centre, the size was huge and there was everything needed even for long stays. It had aircon units in the living room as well as in the bedroom, there's a washing machine and even a dishwasher, an oven and a hotplate, a fridge with freezer, a TV, a big couch, a table with 4 chairs and on the balcony another small table with 2 chairs - really everthing. And there was this amazing view from the balcony on the 8th floor overlooking the whole city with the Rozafa Castle and the surrounding mountains! The building has 2 lifts, so there are hardly any waiting times, and they have an underground car park, where I could safely lock my bike. There's a supermarket and a cafe in the building and a bakery right across the street. I planned to stay 1 or 2 nights, but ended up staying a whole week. This place is highly recommended!
