The size of the apartment was perfect for our stay. We were fortunate enough to get a free upgrade to the executive level on the 36th floor overlooking the city and Crown Casino. The buffet breakfast was sufficient with a satisfactory selection to cater to many dietary requirements. The hotel was conveniently located and not far from Rod Laver Arena as we were down for the Australian Open. I would definitely stay at Oakwood again. The staff were very polite and friendly. We received very good service. The room was modern, and there was a kitchenette, separate living area, a comfortable bed, and fresh linen. Perfect for the business traveller or small family.

Karl lives in the house too and he is such a decent and trustworthy host that you feel at home quickly. definitely no issue at all sharing the house with the host. appreciate the touching stories he shared about his life, great chats! it is easy to reach by car, just follow the direction that Karl sends before your checkin, can't miss it. excellent location for a stopover before or after Great Ocean, although a longer stay would be certainly pleasant too! best value!
