Everything was perfect down to the last detail. The hospitality was very generous. There was even handmade marmalade, milk, and juice in the fridge. A huge selection of coffee capsules, tea sachets, and even Ovaltine powder to use. They even provided spare shampoo and shower gel in case you hadn't brought your own. Everything that makes your stay easy was provided. I wish it were the same in all my destinations. Thank you, and please stay like that. 🙏 Plus; there are 2 big supermarkets very close by.

OK, the apartment was very roomy and in someways rustic, but in also elegant. Our host Andre gave a great deal of effort to have everything that we need in the place from the kitchenware to coffee and a little things like jam and peanut butter. There is tremendous view of the lake from the apartment, which makes the climb up the stairs worth it. The TV and wifi was great.

The bright rooms at the Truite Hotel feature wooden floors, a private entrance, and a bathroom. Everything. It's a truly cute historic hotel in a beautiful gorge I would never have found on my own. The rooms are nice, in a sort of historic-french decor. Breakfast is fantastic, nicely set, French bread, coffee to order, organic local yogurt, etc. Peaceful and quiet, a bucolic little river flowing by, walking trails, trees... it is all that it seems and more. Oh and fresh trout for dinner. What the French can do with a little butter, flour, lemon, and salt and pepper is amazing.
