There’s always that special feeling when you find a true gem, and you simply don’t want to share it. That’s exactly how I felt about these apartments. It’s perfection in every sense. I travel often, but it’s rare to find a place where absolutely nothing is missing. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and the attention to detail is truly impressive. The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare a meal, even appliances most guests probably wouldn’t use, but they’re there just in case. The bathroom is stocked with all the essentials, and the shower even lets you play music so you can sing along while you wash. The living room feels like a private cinema, with a screen over three meters wide. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome. A bar of Swiss chocolate and a bottle of prosecco await you. When I asked the host if there was a way to dry our wet clothes, she kindly took care of them for us. They came back washed, dry, and neatly folded. You often see booking platforms say that the photos match reality. In this case, they don’t. The reality is so much better. Truly 11 out of 10. The host even apologized that there was no mountain view from the balcony because it was raining and cloudy at the time. I sincerely wish every host could offer just a fraction of the warmth and care found in this place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Epoka and would like to express our sincere gratitude to the owners for such a perfect experience. From the very first moment, the villa felt incredibly warm, welcoming, and cozy. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and maintained to the highest standard. It truly felt like a home away from home, but even better. The rooms are very beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, offering plenty of space for everyone to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, which made cooking and spending time together very enjoyable. The living room is especially cozy, perfect for relaxing in the evenings — and we were pleasantly surprised to find board games, which we played together as a family. Those moments made our stay even more special and memorable. The atmosphere of the villa is calm, warm, and full of care for guests. You can really feel how much love and attention has been put into every detail. Everything we needed was there, and more. Thank you so much for your hospitality, kindness, and for creating such a beautiful place. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would 100% recommend Villa Epoka to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and a special place to stay. The road up is a typical mountain road with narrow, winding sections, so drive carefully. 🏡 Our apartment was clean and well-maintained. The bedroom was very comfortable – the bed was great, though the pillows are quite big and high, which might not suit everyone. 🍳 The kitchen is fully equipped, but a few items are a bit worn – for example, the potato peeler was rusty. Also, note that there is no soap or shower gel in the bathroom, so make sure to bring your own. A funny detail: if you need extra toilet paper, you have to request it at reception and pay 0.50 CHF per roll. 🧼 Overall cleanliness was very good. There was a bit of dust in some areas – maybe the apartment hadn’t been used since winter – but towels and linens were fresh and clean. 🚗 Parking is available, but it’s paid. Getting from the parking lot to the room was a bit confusing – we had to switch between three elevators – but you do receive a map with instructions, so don’t worry too much. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 There’s a small play area for kids with a lovely terrace where parents can relax and enjoy the view. It could use a few more games or toys to make it more engaging. 👀 Our room didn’t have a direct view, but that wasn’t a problem – the terrace offers amazing scenery, and even the walk from the parking lot gives you incredible views. 🤝 The staff was polite and helpful, though not particularly warm – they could be a bit friendlier. 💸 Overall, the value for money was very good, and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape with all the basics covered.
