The apartments are so beautiful and you feel at home as soon as you enter it. It’s made with much love and has a beautiful design. The location is of course a bit off but you have 2 restaurants in walking distance and so many nice beaches around. Out of all my accommodations I had in CR this was my favorite. Also the owner is just the best person ever! Such a warmhearted, funny woman, always there to help if you need anything! :))

Located just 600 metres from Sámara Beach, Barracuda apartments offers an outdoor pool and sun terrace and tropical gardens with BBQ facilities. Each air-conditioned apartment has sea views. We were welcomed the moment we arrived(which was early our apologies!!!) Danny is a great guy, and always has great advice for things to do and where to get the deals in town. He was very entertaining and willing to tell you all about the history of the barracuda and even has pictures from before he and his family bought it. The views are amazing and the rooms are very accommodating. We enjoyed the solitude of just being a seven apartment complex and the grounds made you feel like you were in the mediterranean, and we never even went to the beach during the week we were there! Just a beautiful oasis overlooking the pacific! We will be staying again soon! Thanks Danny and Martin for your hospitality!

Casas del Toro Playa Flamingo is located 1 km from Flamingo beach and 4 km from Conchal beach. It features an extensive garden with swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout. Can’t fault this place. It’s very family orientated. If you have WhatsApp it’s really easy to communicate with the hotel. You ask for anything and they are there within a flash. I know it’s not everyone’s forte but we were really appreciative of the fact that you can’t bring animals or smoke on the complex as I have very bad allergies. You all have your own table and chairs to sit out the front around the pool. You can even take your own food and drink on site and treat your room as your home. There is a gated entrance and you need a key fob to get in. It is extremely safe. If you like your Snorkling and scuba diving the office is literally a 5 minute walk, 2 minute drive or they collect you. The prices for these activities were reasonable. We say hump back wales swimming in the harbour too. It was such a good location.
