Everything was perfect. We were well taken care of from the moment, we arrived to La Pavona, as the boat company knew about our arrival and had our names. The accomodation even arranged our transfer to Cahuita (boat and taxi), which worked out well. The apartment exeeded every expectation. Huge open space, wonderful views to Tortuguero canal with sliding doors/windows to let the outside atmosphere in. The whole space was very clean, warm shower, safe, garderobe for clothes, dining an writing table, full sized fridge, double airconditioning, and even a bathtube with view. The bed was very comfortable, the linen was good quality. In town everything was in walking distance, and the whole area was astonishing. If we ever return to Costa Rica, we would definitely stay here again.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.7 km from Cocles Beach, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. The aparthotel offers an outdoor swimming pool with a pool bar, as well as an open-air bath and full-day security. The location was a little bit out of the main town but a cheap Uber ride in and close to a beautiful beach. The villa was perfect for our family, clean, with a well equipped kitchen, including coffee. Great little seating area out front, very secure with a lovely pool.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Villa Casa Azul & Arena Blanca Apartamentos is set in Puerto Viejo, 300 metres from Chiquita Beach and 1.8 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. The apartment offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. In my opinion between Manzanilla and Cahuita this was the ideal location, isolated enough that it felt private but with everything you want within walking distance. The beach across from this location is gorgeous, and there are plenty of food options within walking distance. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of even offering to move us to a new room on the last night of our extended stay when the Internet went down in ours. The rooms were exceptionally clean far cleaner than almost anywhere else we stayed in Costa Rica which is impressive considering the proximity to the rainforest and beach. Our little apartment had its own private courtyard and balcony, as well as a well stocked kitchen and private parking spot. We had originally booked 3 nights but immediately extended to 4 after the first night and my partner said this was her favorite place she stayed during the trip.

At the apartment complex, every unit has bed linen and towels. I loved the location on Casa Amma Road, as I have stayed in that general area and even in that road many times for over 20 years now. It is the best location for me. The cabina was clean and airy. I appreciated the tipico open-air design combined with an enclosed bedroom with AC. The cabina was pretty, kitchen well equipped and the curtains around the open portion of the house were a nice touch for privacy.

Puerto Viejo is 16 km from the apartment, while Cocles is 19 km away. We loved everything about Oasi! From the moment we arrived till we left, the owners were so friendly and helpful, gave us lots of suggestions about the National Park, restaurants in the area, trying to organize a fishing trip. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful garden. We would definitely stay here again in our next trip!!!
