Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

Beautiful property and grounds, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, clean bathroom, air conditioning (big plus for someone who sleep in cool temp), awesome swimming pool all by ourselves, warm and personable hosts (Fabiola, Markus and David are super friendly and helpful)! The location cannot be better! It is quiet, safe yet just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants and Cahuita National Park. We took the great advice from other travelers to stay in Cahuita area rather than Puerto Viejo!! There are great restaurant options in Puerto Viejo but too busy and run down for our liking. We love our stay at Plaza Tucanito where allow us to explore beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of dining options in Cahuita town. Cahuita National Park is definitely a must visit! We went in the morning and saw tons of wildlife and enjoyed the calm and beautiful Playa Blanca! We also enjoyed Playa Grande en Cahuita : )

The air-conditioned unit at the property features a shower and a dressing room. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The good vibes here started immediately upon our arrival. Xinia, the host, lives separately on the property so she was there to greet my sister and I upon arrival. It was easy to get the keys for our casitas and Xinia was a gracious hostess, who showed us all we needed to know about the property and also offered her services for transportation. The casitas were comfortable and clean, and the kitchens were supplied with everything we needed. We only used the internet for use of Netflix and phones, but it was great for our needs. This property is a walkable distance outside the town of Cahuita, which made it perfect for us to be able to relax and enjoy the abundant nature around, without the noise of a town or parties. I enjoyed my morning coffee listening to the sounds of the howler monkeys that can be seen in the neighboring trees, watching and listening to keel-billed and chestnut-mandibled toucans as well as collared aracaris, seeing Montezuma Oropendolas flying about and calling their distinctive call, watching grey necked wood rails and agoutis running through the property, and enjoying the numerous other birds that the gardens of the property attract. Xinia was easy to contact when we needed her or had questions, and was exceptionally available when we asked her to provide transportation to Cahuita or neighboring towns. She speaks very good English and charged for services a very comparable fee to other providers. She also is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is very happy to share the culture and customs of this part of Costa Rica with you. Xinia owns two dogs, Lito and Gucci, who are both loving and sweet. If you are missing a pet of your own, they are wonderful companions who will appreciate your attention, but Xinia also will respect your preference if dogs aren't your "thing." She can also act as a concierge to coordinate trips and tours for you.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Selva Madre Eco-Sanctuary is a real oasis of peace just a few km out from the main road and reachable by a very good path (good to know when driving in Costa Rica). Mary is a beautiful kind person, a great yoga teacher and also a good chef as she cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast in the jungle; she made our staying a unique experience.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Babilonia is in Cahuita, also very close to the beach, few minutes walk. The place was very quiet, between threes and bushes, we even had a sloth on the three next to our place. The place was very clean, and the garbage taken out daily, towels changed every other day. The owner also lives on the property, very helpful.

Quite, good location, close like 1 minute walk to big supermaket, 3 minute to the bus terminal, 15 minutes to the National Park enterence.

I really liked the quiet location yet proximity to everything (beach, town, supermarket, etc.). The place has a relaxing, artsy vibe and feels super safe. We felt like the room was plenty big and comfortable to accommodate our group of 4. Having a pool for the kids was essential. Also, having a fully equipped and functional outdoor kitchen was excellent! We were able to easily make our own meals. All in all, super super happy!!! I would definitely stay at Cahuita Vibe again 😊
