Apartments are situated over The Helm's bar and restaurant and in the Cinnamon Wharf complex, on the beautiful Westport Quay. An excellent apartment in a fantastic location. The Helm pub and restaurant (located below the apartments) is an amazing place, the team, food (excellent!) and atmosphere has real charm. We enjoyed this each morning for breakfast and for dinner and drinks most evenings. The location at The Quay is great for Westport House, the working harbour and a close Westport town. Very relaxing and charming, but close enough to the action.

Easy walk to all restaurants, pubs, shops, etc. My family of five adults (two couples and one single) fit completely comfortably in the three bedrooms. Spacious living room for relaxation and chat. Full kitchen in case you need a break from dining out and want to cook a meal. Plenty of hot water and a good shower in bathroom. Clean. Attentive and communicative host. Apartment located on second and third floors of building, so possibly not suitable for persons with mobility challenges, but perfect for all others.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Our glamping adventure was fantastic! My husband and I brought along our two children, ages 6 and 8, and they had a blast. We planned this trip as a surprise to celebrate our daughter's 6th birthday, and the host went above and beyond by decorating with balloons and giving her a special gift. She was absolutely thrilled. The accommodation was perfect for families and comfortably housed the four of us. There were plenty of games to keep us entertained, and we did a boat trip with Blacksod Sea Adventure that completed our weekend.

The unit is soundproofed and includes a parquet floors as well as a fireplace. This apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking. The accommodation was very pleasant for a two-person business trip. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen facilities suitably equipped for snatching a quick breakfast and for cooking evening meals (although we didn't do the latter in our case). The restaurants in the vicinity were also excellent and there were a handful of convenience stores within easy walking distance where breakfast cereal, croissants, etc. could be purchased. The owners are very friendly and easily contactable if any question does arise.

Each unit is equipped with a kettle, while certain rooms include a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and a stovetop. At the apartment complex, each unit has a private bathroom and bed linen. The apartment was immaculate on arrival and the layout all on one level suited us (and Sadie the whippet) down to the ground. The living room was very cosy indeed and we made use of the log burner with a few drinks in hand before heading into Westport for dinner (only a 10/15 minute drive). The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were beautiful with the comfiest of beds! Right at the foot of Croagh Patrick the views are stunning to the rear and also to the front looking out onto Clew Bay. The location was ideal for our day trips down through Doolough out to Connemara. Pubs within walking distance, but Westport is just so handy to take all number of pubs and amazing restaurants in. Linda was a great host and we all felt so at ease during our stay in Murrisk

Modern and nicely finished. Thoughtfully decorated. Our 2 year old really enjoyed the hens and dogs. It was an an added bonus for her. David looked after us really well, can highly recommend. Had a lovely time while staying here. Nice, calm spot in the countryside.

Murrisk Apartments - Self Catering has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Westport, 9.2 km from Clew Bay Heritage Centre. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment features family rooms. The view was amazing, and the apt had everything we needed. Possible to prepare a meal, enjoy the scenery. Unit was clean with ample parking. Easy check in and out. Will be back if we come by this part of the world again.
