It is worth increasing the accommodation in the countryside if you do not like the hustle and bustle of the big city. Supermarket and restaurants can be reached in 10 minutes in the next town. Very nice and friendly landlords and a rich kitchen equipment. Very spacious for breakfast and large rooms.

The location was excellent, situated very close to the beach and only a short drive (10 minutes) to Clonakilty. The apartment was exceptionally clean, well maintained and very child-friendly. The owner was very helpful and arranged for a cot for our small child. The views from the balcony out over the sea are exceptional, and there is food available in the hotel next door, while also having the self catering option. The apartment was a 10/10.

I booked my friend and myself as we were at the Beltane Fire Festival. Location is perfect if you’re attending events. Close to the town centre & amenities.

The setting is incredibly peaceful—ideal for relaxing and recharging after a long run. The family who runs it are so warm and welcoming, which really added a personal touch to the stay. The facilities are spotless and very comfortable, with everything you could need for a short break. I’d definitely recommend Orchid Mews to anyone looking for a quiet, friendly place to stay near Castletown Geoghegan.

The host was very friendly and provided a few extra touches that made our stay exceptionally nice. We loved being out in the country, but close enough to nice restaurants.
