Very clean, well located, beautiful view and apartment. Only 10min drive from downtown Vik and any of the black sand beaches. Saw a lot of scam along the road (places we almost stayed at!!) but the black beach suites appartement was a lucky pick! Highly recommend.

A recently renovated apartment located in Hvolsvöllur, Country cottage with great view to the glacier, Eyjafjallajökull and Westman Islands features a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 34 km from Seljalandsfoss. Easily one of the best accommodations we experienced in Iceland. The house is clean, modern, and very spacious, giving plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing. It’s perfectly equipped with everything you might need, which made our stay very comfortable. We also enjoyed the lovely views and the peaceful, quiet surroundings — a great place to unwind and recharge. Definitely a top choice, and we would happily stay here again on our next visit.

It is very comfortable and has all the amenities even for a longer stay. The neighborhood is amazing, so quiet and peaceful and has a beautiful view. The host is very helpful and responsive. We will definitely come back again!

Located in Hvolsvöllur, Sleeping with the Horses provides accommodation with seating area. With free private parking, the property is 21 km from Seljalandsfoss and 49 km from Skogafoss Waterfall. The apartment has private entrance. Feel the country and the horses! We stayed here for one week and visited common and secret places nearby by the rented 4WD. Very close to the ferry (Landeyjahöfn) to the Vestmannaeyjar (Westmen Island). The cottage is clean and has a cooking place with all equipment you need (coffee machine, dish washer, microwave). Very nice,relaxed and friendly staff. My daughter also joined the famous black beach ride. Best thing: no TV set and the panorama windows.

We loved the outdoor shower and the location in the forest by the river. The hosts were lovely as well.

IMO, this got the highest value for money, compared to all the places I have been to in Iceland. You got everything, spacious room, comfy bed, washing machine with dryer. All the kitchen utensils, equipment. Quiet place, nice and very clean room, parking right in front. Haven't actually met the host, but she always replied quickly. So I have no problem here.

Our fault, but she was "Johnny On The Spot'. Host's husband was super sweet and friendly.
