Our stay at Friends was the most memorable part of our trip to Jamaica! Birgit and Richard were the perfect hosts to our time in Port Antonio. We decided not to rent a car in Jamaica and arrived in the evening by shuttle. Richard was easy to get a hold of, and he picked us up a few minutes from Friends, where it was best to transfer from the van that brought us to Port Antonio. I was traveling with a friend, and we rented both apartments for ample space and to have our own comfy beds. The apartments had everything we needed and convenient items for purchase in the fridge and on the shelf, including Blue Mountain coffee, a water kettle and french press. The rooms were clean, quiet and nicely decorated with views of the lush property from the lower apartment and the most amazing, nearly 360-degree views from the upper patio. Upon request, Birgit prepared a delicious and large breakfast spread each morning with fresh fruit from their property, honey from their bees, a homemade baked item, a savory warm dish, coffee and so much more! All of which we enjoyed, slowly each morning, on their beautiful wood deck built among their blooming/fruiting trees. After breakfast, we spent our days cruising around with Richard in their capable Land Rover to all the best spots listening to some great music. We went on an excursion each day and Birgit and Richard helped us plan based on the weather and other variables. Richard drove us to dinner in town before we went back to Friends or gave us a ride later in the evening. We felt so taken care of the whole stay! We spent 4 amazing nights at Friends. I am already dreaming of my next visit!

Tim Pappies Nature Lodge - Hunter's Place nằm ở Port Antonio, có khu vườn, nhà hàng và tiện nghi BBQ. The host Sangela was super friendly. There was a mix-up for the reservations and they were able to work out an alternative. The studio was spacious enough for 2 people, very clean. Nice to have AC and hot water. It's a quiet and convenient location for our trip.

The apartment itself had a real home from home feel, comfortable and with most of what we needed. We loved the location. We felt comfortable in what we would describe as experiencing a real Jamaican neighbourhood. No high rise hotels, very few tourists and a real relaxed vibe. We also liked that there were always many taxis out on the main road, no problem if you needed transport.
