The location is nestled in a small village surrounded by the bundala national park. very calm and quiet. lot of wildlife perfect for birdwatching. can see a lot of birds from the balcony. and some elephants too. went on the motorbike safari and it was a great experience, recommend it also we had the village style meals and they were absolutely delicious. and Ravindhu is a great host super friendly and always a big smile. stayed there two nights and its worth it.

We came with family for a week but decided to stay for a month. Great place and great family. Very clean and quiet, spacious and modern room. Gorgeous place - ultra spacious and not one but two comfortably equipped terraces, one of which looked straight out to sea which was a real wow and where we spent all of our time. Super guy who looked after us during our stay who also worked at a local restaurant, Fine Dining, which was our favourite. He was so attentive as were all the lovely security staff. Gorgeous pool and garden. We'll be back.

It exceeded all my expectations ♡ If you like nature and animals you have to book this villa. The garden leads to a private lagoon that provides you with authentic wild life from Sri Lanka. We fed monkeys and chipmunks, saw bats, peacocks and fireflies right there in our backyard. We travel a lot, but I'm confident to say that Sanjeewa was the best host we ever had. He made us smoothies and coffee, gave good recommendations and even invited us for a drink with his friends. When the neighbours were playing music at night, he immediately advocated for us and made sure it wouldn't happen again. He saw to our every need and his english is excellent. He even offered to drive us to the train station. The rooms of the house are spacious. There are two rooms and a bathroom on each floor. The rooms upstairs each have a balcony. The shared kitchen has all necessary utensils. If you're lucky, you could have the whole house to yourself. I'm usually rather critical in reviews, but everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable even for my back problems. Sanjeewa came every morning to clean the floors and the kitchen. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk away, as well as a lot of restaurants and little supermarkets. Hence the location is really excellent. I think the price was fair. I would prefer this place to any fancy hotel. Will definitely stay here a second time, should I ever visit Sri Lanka again.
