Samith and his brilliant staff are always around for assistance. For instance, our mobile chargers were not compatible with the plug points in the room; Samith bought us 2 new portable plug sockets. We wanted to try the Sri Lankan lamprais for lunch on the day of our arrival. I contacted Samith to get the location of good hotels for that, and he immediately connected me with his chef and got us the dish made specifically for us. Similarly, he arranged an early morning cab for us to visit Pidurangala and later Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. He even, personally, drove us to the airport. PS: Don't miss the complimentary breakfast. It was so elaborate for us with spring hoppers, curry, sambal, 3 types of cut fruits, coffee, and tea.

Excellent Stay Our stay was truly excellent. We enjoyed a superb breakfast and dinner, and we especially loved the cookery demonstration. The trekking experience and the views were amazing. Kevin, our tuk-tuk driver, was very friendly and made us feel safe throughout the journey. We wanted to buy Sri Lankan spices, and he took us to authentic places with genuine products. The property was very clean and charming. The lady who manages the place was lovely and always helpful. We will definitely be back next year.

What can I say about Sajee and his family! We stayed in one of their rooms for 6 nights to rest and explore the area and they made us feel like family the whole time! The room was very clean, the mattress and pillows very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My favourite part was the patio in the front surrounded by trees and nature. All we could hear for days was the sound of the animals which was sooo relaxing! We spent hours relaxing and reading our books there. He also had excellent breakfast every morning, home cooked, and we were asked very often if we needed something (towels, cleaning, toilet paper etc). His son also took really good care of us. He gave us local teas and snacks to try which was so nice. They also helped us with our Tuktuk a couple of times that we needed it. We can’t thank them enough🙏🏼 we will definitely be back! Tip: while you’re there try the cooking class they offer once daily but book a few days in advance to be sure! People were coming every day for the class and we decided to try it too and didn’t regret it. We learned so much about the local cuisine and spices and we had such a delicious meal in the end🙏🏼

We had a truly memorable stay at this beautiful private cabin. The moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by pure nature — green trees, birds singing, and the occasional peacock proudly walking by. Every morning we woke up to the peaceful sounds of the jungle — monkeys calling from the treetops and fresh air all around. The place felt very safe and calm, yet there was a little sense of wild adventure, which made it exciting. We even saw some wildlife nearby — like colorful birds and playful monkeys. It was magical to be so close to nature but still have the comfort of a cozy bed and our own kitchen.
