We were renting our own Tuktuk so the location was ideal as it was right on the main road with quick & easy access (5 min drive) to Hiriketiya and Kudawella (a great beginner surf spot) and was also only a 15 minute drive to Silent Beach in Tangalle. The room we stayed in was large, spacious, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted with many outlets, Netflix, toiletries, tea & coffee, etc. Even on the main road the room is well sound proofed and quiet at night. The staff are very friendly & go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. We would recommend staying here (especially if you have your own Tuktuk as they have parking space that’s gated at night)

At the apartment complex, each unit includes bed linen and towels. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Le Cabanon and couldn’t recommend it more. Our hosts, Cassandre and Romain, were exceptional, incredibly kind, responsive, and always available. The location of Le Cabanon is unbeatable, right next to the bay, and the apartment itself is stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. A big highlight for us was the option of daily cleaning. The lovely lady who takes care of the apartment was extremely thorough, every time we came back, the place was perfectly refreshed, beautifully organized, and smelled wonderful thanks to a subtle incense. It truly elevated our stay. Romain and Cassandre go above and beyond with recommendations and help with anything you might need. At one point, we really wanted to visit a restaurant that was fully booked, and they went out of their way to secure us a table. That level of care and dedication says everything. At the end of our stay, they also helped us organize our transport back to Colombo. The driver they work with was by far the best we met during our trip, doubling as an excellent guide and making the journey a real pleasure.

With garden views, Serene Villa Hiriketiya is situated in Hiriketiya and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Our apartment at Serene Villa really had the wow factor, we were lucky enough to be in room 6 which is relatively new and on the top floor and away from everyone else, with an incredible view! Comfy bed, great shower, lots of privacy, high quality furnishings, kitchen space, great air con etc - we were so happy here and I wish we had stayed longer than 5 nights! The team are wonderful, happy, welcoming and brilliant hosts. Breakfast was fantastic. The gym on site is better equipped than most. The yoga was great as was the coffee - we were very happy to pay for these extras - they’re definitely worth it. I also had a massage which was wonderful and used the laundry service which wS impressively quick! It’s a short walk to the beach/bars etc - so a great location. Word of warning - there are loads of monkeys so hide your food. They look into the windows to see what you gave! They broke into our apartment and stole our sweets/fruit - but our own fault for having them on display!

Hospitaity, colonial style of villas, cuisine, spa, very professional people in management (special thanks to Vidushi Tharaka, who supported me in anything, gave best recomendations, even I lost my jewlery in SPA - they found for me), its my sevond stay in this hotel and im dreaming to come back!

500 metres from Weligama Beach, Omeera Sand is a recently renovated property situated in Weligama and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Me and husband We booked to stay on Deluxe King room for two nights. But, on our second night our cousins joined with us. So, we changed to downstairs Queen room that with shared bathroom for two of our rooms. Rooms on upstairs (King Room) is extremely new opened and what a wonderful cleaning procedure they following that is extremely good for customers. On during our stay we used both types of rooms. Both floors are extremely clean and room equipment also standard level for us. Actually both room types are excellent and service also good and superb. Breakfast is the most delicious and various typical sri lankan local foods we have each day and fruits also we have. And we booked surf lesson and the hotel owner have his own surf school and we all have 10% special discount because we are his hotel customers.

Galle Light house is 35 km from the apartment and Hummanaya Blow Hole is 36 km away. perfect location, very closer to town and have all facilities in the hostel, nice beach and I was relax in the beach and enjoy the sea perfectly. night time can walk in the beach. that was very good and cleanliness place for stay. beds are very clean. that is best hostel value of my money, and very good staff also.
