We've never stayed anywhere quite like it! When we pulled up to the property, we thought that there must have been some mistake, as it looked like it had not been renovated, with old cracked and rusty framed windows. However we quickly realised that behind this facade was an incredible renovation of the old black smith's forge. We entered to find a lovely kitchen, a seating area, bedroom and bathroom. All open plan with curtains separating each area. The real striking thing about this property is the stone walls and ceiling. It's basically a posh cave, complete with cobwebs and that strange smell that you get in them. As a holiday let, it's so incredibly unique that we just loved it. It's just those little details, like the lovely copper basin in the bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The location is fantastic. Not far from Vianden Castle and on a lovely cobbled street. The communication from Mayke before our stay was just amazing. Every bit of information that we could want. I only realised during our stay that she owns and has renovated several properties, and I do mean to look more into these and what she and Pascal have done. The key was in a keysafe next to the front door, so we had no problems checking ourselves in. We also loved the little details, like the light under the bed that came on automatically when you put your foot down. Small things that have a big impact. I definitely want to return to this place.

This is a privately owned unit in a village close to Clervaux. We stayed for 3 days and the location was wonderful for sightseeing in the area. Great also to be staying somewhere with a full functional kitchen. Everything about this unit was 10/10 including the most helpful hosts.

I am very allergic and sensitive for mold and humidity. I didn't expect a basement but that's because i didn't read the descriptions very well. They mentioned it online, I've read that later. At first i was a little disappointed but I can't blame anyone for that, I just have missed that information. I must say, the room felt very cozy and comfortable. The bathroom itself is very roomy. My husband and I are very concerned about our privacy and it felt a little awkward at first having to walk through the garage to reach the accommodation, but we got used to it quickly. Every facility was there so we don't have any complain at all. When you are looking for a accommodation for a couple of nights in a tranquil and quiet little town then I can really recommend this place!!!!
