It had everything we needed for our three-night stay and was super clean. The staff were very helpful and responsive. They let us check in early and gave us options for dropping off our bags after checkout. The pdf guide they shared was super useful and covered everything we needed to know. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

It's a bed-and-breakfast, but it's outstanding as the owner makes it so. Collecting your keys and using the code with the precise information provided makes it easy to walk in, and it's beautiful. It's their home setup, like an apartment building with a central hallway with stylish light decor that oozes charm. The rooms are large, delightful, well-appointed, full of light, perfectly maintained, and spotless. They are very generous in stocking the kitchenette, but the ambiance makes it stand out. Yes, the beds are comfy and good quality, with lovely freshly cleaned bed linens and towels, but because they put so much effort into it, it is a place you want to hang out. So you're not stuck in a hotel where you must pay for everything or sit in some breakfast room. You want to hang out in your large sunny room even though it's an incredible location, which makes it so unique - it's quiet but close to everything. Valetta was lovely, but now it's one endless chain of restaurants and bars with competing, deafening music -Michael Jackson blaring from one and Journey from another. It's ruined Valletta, but Birgu has plenty of history, architecture, museums and restaurants. Enjoy the gondola ride across the harbor for three euros to Valletta if you want. Or grab a car and go where you want as it's accessible, with much less traffic. Or you can walk around Birgu, where you get a sense of history and enjoy the ocean in the adjacent, pristine, quiet cove. It's a shame because Valetta used to be a beautiful, elegant city, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. But now, it's like running the gauntlet as servers confront you with their menu, trying to get you to come in as you can barely walk on the pedestrian street as it's one outdoor seating area, and the noise at night is invasive. Birgu - it's a haven. It's what you want. It's relaxing. It's beautiful.

Set in Cospicua, this air-conditioned apartment is 2.1 km from Valletta. The unit is 5 km from St Julian's. We got a warm welcome by the owner and helpfull tips about public transport, stores nearby and excursions in Malta. The flat was well equipped and nicely decorated and we loved the roof top terrace with the view over the harbor.

The apartment is located in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood, only a 5 min walk from the bus stop to Valletta. It has been renovated recently and all the amenities are exceptional. The owners are very accomodating and helpful, catering to our every need. Everything was new, clean, and honestly in the best spot we could've picked to stay at. Having travelled through many neighbourhoods, Birgu was our favourite as a couple – it combined tradition and tranquility, beautiful townhouses and winding streets along with a close distance to the centre (about a 30 min travel). Also, the check-in was very easy and the apartment identical to the photos provided. Thank you for everything!

Looks exactly like the pictures and is a great new refurbishment. I was working and the little desk in the nook was perfect. Good local recommendations. Worth being aware that is quite a walk up from the ferry but there's a very close bus stop.

Very peaceful at all times of the day. Everything was extremely clean and cozy. Shower gel and shampoo were provided. The apartment also had a hairdryer and an iron, which was very convenient. The hosts welcomed us with a lovely surprise on the kitchen table – Maltese wine and local treats. There was beer in the fridge, and the containers for coffee, tea, and coffee cream were fully stocked. Plenty of towels were available. The apartment also had a washing machine and dryer. The hosts regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and kindly offered us a flexible check-out time. Thank you so much! We wholeheartedly recommend this place.
