If you’re visiting Nizwa, we’d definitely recommend staying at the Omani Guest House. We spent two nights in Nizwa: one at the Omani Guest House and one at another traditional inn - and we much preferred the Omani Guest House. The main reason was Ali, the owner, and all the amazing staff. They were very welcoming and friendly, which made our stay really enjoyable. The location of the guesthouse is perfect, right by Nizwa Souq, so everything from cafes to restaurants is just a short walk away. The rooms have a lovely traditional decor, and our room was very comfortable and quiet. We would definitely return.

It was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The furniture and facilities were of high quality and from the apartment we had an overview over the yard that we utilized for parking. The location was good as well within walking distance to the souq and fort. Will definitely book the same apartment the next time we visit the lovely town of Nizwa. We even got complimentary snacks as a surprise. And received a very helpful and friendly service regarding payment from the owner, thank you.

The host has very thoughtfully kept an adaptor, UNO cards etc. A staff member helped carry our bags upstairs. We reached rather late in the evening and the owner was there to greet us and settle us in. It was much better than the pics on bookings.com.

Very spacious, large bedrooms with private bathrooms. Very clean, thick towels, equipped with every luxury. Definitely recommended if you are in NIzwa. Good host.

Very clean, big rooms, modern bilding near the old houses and museum (by feet 15min), a lot places to eat and some supermarket on the same street. There the palm trees and aflaj near so it's a good place just to walk around.
