This was by far the best property we stayed at during our month in Peru. The rooms are a great size with excellent shared facilities. They are conveniently located 2 minutes away from the San Blas Market (our favourite juice and sandwich spot in Cusco) as well as the rest of Cusco. Brandon was the most impeccable host, who helped us with everything from booking additional nights, luggage storage, recommendations etc. we couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home in Cusco.

He even prepared us a take away breakfast at 4:00 am on the day we left for the Inca Trail hike. When we returned after three nights it felt like coming home. We can highly recommend the Katari Apart Hotel. Location was also excellent, an easy walk away from everything.

Casona La Recoleta is located in the centre of Cusco, close to San Blas Church and Religious Art Museum. Casona La Recoleta offers independent apartments that can fit up to 6 people. Fitted with a garden, the apartments feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower, chimney and a full equipped kitchen and living room. Cozy, clean, safe place and very friendly staff. Each night they would start the fire plac and the water is hot. The garden is a corner of heaven. Totally recommend.
