It's a 10 minute walk to the main plaza and has small shops, restaurants and bars even closer. The communication with the host was excellent and they were helpful in assisting me to book an early morning taxi to the airport. The beds are comfortable and the shower is hot! A perfect stay in Cusco for a group or family!

The hostess, Milagros, was the most kind and welcoming!!! There were two separate rooms with two twin beds in each, the living area and the kitchenette. Everything was extremely clean and pretty. Even though there was no heating in the building, but the beds had multiple blankets and comforters, so the sleep was really pleasant. The property is located in the historic center, only 10 min walk from the central square where the main attractions happen. The breakfast included eggs, bread, butter, jam, fruits, fresh-squeezed orange juice and coffee & tea. There is a little a fridge and a microwave, there are many convenience stores within 1-3 minutes from the building.

Breakfast was simple, fresh fruit, freshly made eggs, bread, cheese, fresh squeezed orange juice, and serviceable coffee. It was good, for all it was simple. Get coffee elsewhere if you're a coffee snob, but it was perfectly fine if all you needed was the caffeine. The place was clean, quiet, and spacious. We had a hike booked, but I got food poisoning (not from this place!) the morning we were supposed to leave. I spent 16 hours (I counted, it was great) not able to leave the bathroom for more than five minutes. This place is central to everything while being off the main road, so my brother didn't have to go far to find me meds and gatorade. And hey, I can tell you with assurance that the bathroom was not the worst place to spend 16 hours throwing up! Wouldn't do it again, necessarily, but it could have been worse. There are restaurants and museums nearby. The place has the space to allow your party a little privacy if you want it (living room and bedroom, little courtyard). I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is beside the Inca Rail office. It's also along the main avenue and walking distance to the center of Cuzco. There is a nice view of Qurikancha at the back. The host, Alex is very responsive.

Exactly what we needed for our stay in Cusco. The apartments were very comfortable. The owners were kind to store our baggage while we were at the trek.

Casona La Recoleta is located in the centre of Cusco, close to San Blas Church and Religious Art Museum. Casona La Recoleta offers independent apartments that can fit up to 6 people. The property is beautiful! It’s like grandma’s old house… inviting and welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need to cook the breakfast they leave the day before for you to cook. They leave delicious fruit (papaya, mango, orange, apple, etc). It varies. They always leave oranges. There is a Manual juicer to have your perfect orange juice anytime you want. There is coffee and, of course, coca leaves for your tea. They also leave eggs, cheese, and jam. The cleaning ladies will clean your kitchen every morning and the whole loft. This being said, the loft is super clean. The staff is incredibly helpful and I can really say my stay here was wonderful. Casona La Recoleta is very close to Plaza de Armas. We walked everywhere. And all the tours picked us up at the hotel. Cusco is a beautiful town, bigger than I thought! There is soooo much to do here. I would definitely stay at this place if I went back to Cusco. We actually stay here for 6 days, went to Aguas Calientes for a couple of days, and came back to Casona La Recoleta for two more days. We were very pleased with everything. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel like home!
