This charming spot offers a prime location, allowing you to easily stroll to a variety of delightful restaurants in the picturesque town of Castro Verde. Our host, Susana, is an absolute gem! She welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour, and the accommodations were exactly what we needed after our long journey. We enjoyed a restful night on a comfortable bed, rejuvenated with a hot shower, and appreciated the privacy blinds that allowed us to rest at any hour. To top it all off, we discovered a wealth of cycling adventures waiting to be planned and indulged in an amazing breakfast that fueled our trip home. If you find yourself in Castro Verde, staying here is an absolute must!

A great location inside the walls of the old town. It’s even more spacious than I was expecting and has been tastefully renovated with much care to retain the area’s cultural heritage. Relaxing on your private verandah overlooking a gorgeous garden at the end of the day was a delight. Luis and Antonia (our hosts) offered recommendations for sight-seeing and dining which were incredibly helpful. They are foodies like us - trust me - their dining recommendations are fantastic! They made us feel so welcome and at home. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our stay so special!

T2, Casa Sol e Mar 50464/AL ligger ved stranden i Vila Nova de Milfontes, kun 3 minutters gang fra Franquia Strand, og har gratis wi-fi. We cycled into town just before the storm hit. We were allowed to park our precious touring bikes inside the apartment where they were safe and dry. My favorite part of the stay was the loving care given to the apartment by Maria. Ironed and perfumed sheets, kitchen and bath towels, tablecloths, and napkins. Lace doilies on all surfaces like my grandmother used to crochet, An enormous gift basket of fresh oranges, walnuts, pears apples, and bananas. We stayed three days and it rained the whole time, so I made use of the best-stocked kitchen I’ve seen since I left home five years ago. I made banana bread and apple crisp with the fruit. Soups and casseroles. We washed all our smelly cycling clothes in the washing machine provided. Three balconies allowed us to have coffee with the sunrise on one side and happy hour sunset on the other. There was a bathtub to read and relax in during the bad weather. Bubble bath, candles, and Portuguese wine. What more can you ask for? I can‘t tell you what the town looked like because we never left the apartment. Maria was kind, communicative, and personable. She met us at the apartment and showed us around, something that happened rarely during our stay in Portugal. Lastly, the price was an absolute steal. We felt spoiled rotten!

Almoura Ladeira ligger i Évora, 6 minutters gang fra Roman Temple of Evora, 600 m fra Chapel of Bones og 6 minutters gang fra Igreja de Sao Joao Evangelista. This was an excellent stay. The host was very friendly and available very quickly to answer any questions. The place itself was wonderful, with a modern design style which included an excellent bathroom and kitchen, as well as a very comfortable and sizeable bedroom. The location is also excellent, being located within the walls and only a couple of minutes away from some of the sights. I had an excellent experience staying here and would definitely consider staying here again if I were to return to Évora.

The location was just perfect, two mins walk from the market square. As for the place itself - we could not have asked for more: the flat is fully furbished for a longer stay, clean, easily accessible, the kitchen has basic equipment, beds very comfy, bathroom with hairdryer, towels, etc., even the washing machine was there, as were salt, pepper and olive oil in the cupboard, for guests to use.

The Bastion Elvas Apartments ligger fra El Corte Inglés i Elvas og tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition og gratis wi-fi. I loved everything! The location is very central, the apartment is very modern (loved the AC, super quiet and the bathroom!) and well equipped. Super easy self check in that is great when you arrive late in town. I highly recommend it!
