The accommodation quality was quite good, and the bedroom in particular was superb. The hot water worked well and all the appliances were excellent. We've stayed at several places in Jinja, but this was the best accommodation in terms of cleanliness and value for money. Our entire family was satisfied and we plan to use it again next time.

I enjoyed every aspect of the house, but I was especially impressed with the bathroom and kitchen—they were just perfect! The hospitality from the house manager was exceptional, which made the experience not only enjoyable but also memorable!

This should rather be named, "Gem on the Nile" - a stunning location, with spacious suites overlooking the river, with a really great dining area/bar! The owner, David, could not have been more welcoming, and a high standard of hospitality was also offered by all of the staff, every one gracious and friendly. The food was of an equally high standard: we ordered fish (tilapia) and it was cooked to perfection. Home on the Nile defines Value for Money - it offers a lot, for much less than many of the other accommodations that we stayed at during our Ugandan travels, whilst offering a similar high standard.
