I really loved my stay at Casa Conti and the marvelous room, it has such a spectacular and a very close view on lake Maggiore that makes the place extra special, and the rooms has a very fine taste spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

Don't let the name put you off. There is a small, tidy butcher shop on the ground floor but most of the multi-story house has been turned into a B&B, including a spacious breakfast room and a lovely outdoor patio with lots of seating and potted plants. The room was tastefully painted with a soothing sage green, and the hallways and common areas are decorated with antique books and various shop paraphernalia, such as an old cash register, to add visual interest. The breakfast was very tasty, with freshly made fruit salad and local cheeses and meats. The hostess is dedicated to the hotel and her guests. Entrance is easy after hours with the lockbox. Outside, there's a small passage that will lead you to the other side of the tracks, so you can reach the lakeside promenade in less than five minutes.

Location View from apartment Hostess -Esmeralda- who managed the property was incredible! She went out of her way to make the stay as comfortable for us as possible. I requested to order a cake for my dads birthday and she went above and beyond to sort that out. Property gorgeous! Huge two rooms and super clean. Views to the lake are stunning. Short walk to centre and station! Best stay we had in Swiss was here
