We had a fabulous time at Apartamento Karibu. We received a warm welcome from Rosa and a lot of useful information about the area and what to do. The place is beautiful and accurately described in many of the reviews. The garden is stunning and we were entertained by the little humming bird, the iguanas, the agouti and the geckos. We had a fabulous time and will certainly be back.

Very clean and nice little house, with plenty of natural vegetation, birds and animals right outside - and on! - the porch! For a bilder like myself this was a perfect place, saw a lot of interesting birds and animals from the porch and restaurant. Lovely apartment, had everything I needed, good kitchen, including blender to make smoothies, spacious, nicely decorated, very cosy. Nice little private garden, where two parrots made their nest in the tree. Communication with host was fine, although mostly with app, no personal contact. My worry was that it would be inconvenient without a car, but that was no problem at all: you can walk to the main road, where there are frequent buses to the national parc and Manuel Antonio beach. I found it also easy to hitchhike when I missed the bus, parc and beach are the end of the road, and all cars go there. Teva hostel is near (walking distance) and has a nice (Moroccan) restaurant.

We got our villa upgraded for free. We were also allowed to enter earlier than the checking. The staff was super nice and helpful. The pool was very nice. Breakfast was great with five different choices. We saw macaws, monkeys and tucans at the property. There is a bus stop in front to get to Quepos or Manuel Antonio for less than $1. Kitchen was properly equiped. The room had AC and several fans. King size bed with very comfortable mattress.
