We had a great stay! The hosts were kind and made us feel like home the room was nice and clean the AC worked perfekt and the bathroom clean and the shower was good with hotwater The breakfast and the dinner was delieious.large nice garden nice dining area. Talalla beach wich is by for the quietest beach we have seen in sri lanka its 7 mint walk. They have 2 bikes free of charge. Abusolutely Recommended

The fantastic Madame Mani is the owner and manager of Gurugedare Heritage. She welcomes all guests with open arms and you feel welcome and home immediately. International or domestic breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are Sri Lankan dishes with local ingredients. In the vicinity there is Tallalla Beach approx. 1km. 7km away there is the fantastic Hiriketiya Beach a paradise for surfers. (15min by tuk-tuk) Thank you Madame Mani for a fantastic stay. I very much enjoyed my time staying here. The family were so accommodating and just lovely. I felt as much at home as one can in a new place. It’s so close to the beach and talalla retreat if you want to take some yoga classes. Would definitely recommend staying here and if I’m ever in talalla again I would stay here!

Darshani is a wonderful host. She offers a very authentic place for a reasonable price with a huge terrace that has a stunning view on the wonderful Talalla beach. The rooms are small but equipped with everything you need. Her brother is also very kind and provides excellent breakfast and dinner. He offers comfortable rooms too. Thank you Darshani and Krishanta for your great hospitality and flexibility. We will definitely come back.

The very quiet Gardens, the lovely breakfasts, beautiful empty beach, lovely pool and courteous attentive staff. We had a gorgeous room with an out door,roll top bath. If you're looking for a quiet beach, this will hit the spot. The waves are strong so probably best for confident swimmers though you won't have to be an Olympian! The main house is also gorgeous with an airy colonial vibe. Evening meals can be taken at the beach restaurant over the road ( not a busy road). The place is gated with a 24hour watch for the security minded. Various swings, hammocks and board games dotted around. Peacocks, bee-eaters, monitor lizards and chipmunks abound. Heard a Coppersmith Barbet but didn't see it. Fruit bats fly over at sunset. Heaven!

Situated in Dickwella, a few steps from Batheegama Beach, King CoCo House has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access.
