Brenda and Kajaa are amazing! Brenda is a very good cook and was always available if we needed something. She helped us to arrange our trip to Pigeon Island and arranged a boat trip for whale and dolphin watching. Additionally, the accommodation was very clean. Highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at Blue Wings.Probahh and his wife Wiji did everything they could to make our stay comfortable .The breakfast and dinners were amazing with a variety of meals. Probahh organised a scooter for me within an hour of our arrival which enabled us to get around easily. The beach was just 20 meters away where we could take a swim and relax. The hotel is in a quiet non touristy part of town which was what we liked. Would definitely recommend staying if coming to Trincomalee.

The previous review was mistakenly posted for a different property. This is the correct one. I stayed here in July with a last-minute booking, but the warm welcome made me feel right at home. Upon arrival, they helped me park and quickly showed me to my room, which was very clean. There’s no air conditioning, but a pleasant breeze comes through the window, and the mosquito net allowed me to sleep comfortably even though I usually dislike bugs. The hotel is in a great location—just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. Nearby, there are shops selling beer, wine, and ice, as well as a delicious and affordable Sri Lankan restaurant right next door (takeout available). There’s no fridge in the room, but the owner kindly let me use their family fridge to chill my drinks. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always around and ready to assist with anything. As a guest, I could book snorkeling tours to Pigeon Island and dolphin & whale watching trips at a special rate. Even same-day bookings were arranged smoothly, including transport to the meeting point. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and efficient. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next time I visit Sri Lanka. Thank you to the owner and the whole family for a lovely time!

The host is such a great guy. Along with his many cars and dogs and his sweet mother, the host made my stay one I didn’t want to leave! Real life working aircon provided (not a fan— the real deal!) The room was cool on arrival and functioned perfectly. The bed and pillows were super comfy. 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants.

We stayed there at the end of our journey for one week. It was super clean, and the apartments have all you are asking for. The owner was very nice and caring (as our daughter became sick) he helped us to get to see a doctor... The beach in front if the apartment ist marvelous, the staff nice, also the little restaurant served nice food. To go shopping we took a Tuktuk to Trincomalee. We went snorkeling to Pigeon Island and saw turtles, sharks, plenty of colorful fish. We visited Memos next to the apartment for a snack or coffee and Vitamin Sea for food... We could have spent more time there and really felt like home.

We have never met such friendly staff! Silva and his team do their best to make sure we have a great time. Raju (part of the team) is very calm and professional driver who helped us a lot. At short notice they even set up a super romantic and delicious engagement dinner right on the beach - with flowers and a beautifully set table. Completely spontaneous and with a lot of discretion, so that the dinner was a real surprise for my fiancee. In general, breakfast and dinner were exceptionally good and varied. Especially the sea food dishes were fantastic. Best food we had in Sri Lanka! Silva is just an awesome cook. In the bungalow we liked everything very much: The bed is comfortable, there is a water kettle, and tra and coffee, everything was clean. Through the palm forest you can see the sea a bit. In general, the complex is very quiet and well-kept. The beach is less than 100 m away from the bungalows. The water is warm and clean. We canonly recommend staying at Tottam, it was the place to be for us and we were happy to stay 6 nights. Thank you so much!
