This place is really like a paradise… lovely island, super chill, with a number of small resorts and restaurants, beach bars and beach massage platforms along the length of the beach.. this resort is very comfortable, with kind staffs and a central beach location.. you can easily walk to any of the other places along the beach (except during high-high tide).. a rocky sea floor, exposed at low tide, is still quite walkable as you make your way out into the sea.. can walk to the coral reef, maybe 200m. Bungalows were comfortable - would definitely recommend a sea facing room - and the garden area between the bungalows and the sea is very well maintained and offers plenty of comfortable seating.. breakfast was quite nice and at all times we felt well cared for by the kind staffs.. would definitely recommend to others

We had a really nice stay. The food (especially the seafood) is delicious, the staff is great, and the bungalows are really close to the sea.

My 2 weeks stay in Cashewnut Tree Bungalows I recently stayed for 2 weeks at the family house in Cashewnut Tree Bungalows and had a very relaxing time. The owners are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed. They offer a wide range of services, including scooter rentals, boat trips, elephant rides in the rainforest, various minivan or ferry connections to other cities or airports, diving trips, and numerous local attractions with plenty of recommendations. The resort also provides laundry services at a very reasonable price. The resort area itself is very peaceful, which helped me relax completely. It is centrally located in the southern part of Koh Lanta, near many restaurants, souvenir shops, 7-Eleven store, bars, and beautiful beaches. You can easily visit each of the beaches by scooter, which is very convenient. The location is relatively close to the national park and a waterfall, both of which are worth visiting. During my stay, I explored the entire island and found that the southern part is much more peaceful than the northern part. The resort provides internet access, but in the family house where I stayed, the connection was the weakest among all the bungalows. The speed was around 7 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Sometimes, I had to use my mobile internet for work. However, for regular internet use, the provided connection should be sufficient, with speeds up to 310 Mbps claimed by the owners in the other bungalows. In summary, Cashewnut Resort is very well organized, and the owners are very helpful. During my stay, I had an issue with my scooter, and the owners immediately assisted me by facilitating communication with the local Thai people, which was a great help. I could always count on their support. If I return to Koh Lanta, I will definitely visit Cashewnut Tree Bungalows again.

Amazing place to enjoy an authentic experience in an still not that touristy island

Beautiful quiet place, really clean and comfortable. Very nice staff who did all she could to make us feel good. A nice restaurant close to the bungalow with excellent food. A beautiful small garden outside. We got a bottle of water every day and also she gave us fresh coconut drinks for free. The bungalow also have a refrigerator, water boiler and coffee for free

Everything about our stay was fantastic

Sweet Life Guesthouse is a nice and comfortable place to stay, especially if you appreciate a modern and clean environment. The rooms are well-kept, with a cozy bed and plenty of natural light from the big windows. The decor is simple but stylish, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The location is convenient, and the overall experience was pleasant. However, if you’re looking for a more rustic or traditional Thai-style stay, this might feel a bit too modern. Overall, a great choice for those who value comfort and a fresh, well-maintained space.

I loved that there were only a few bungalows in a quiet location, reception also is a little cafe! The room was spotless and we found the beds really comfortable! Bonus was that the staff were really friendly and left us fresh towels and water everyday and offered to clean the room daily too! It really added to our stay in Koh Mook and the A/C worked brilliantly!

Special little gem. If you're looking for something different, this is it. I was lucky to have a beautiful beach completely to myself. So if you need to take a breather, I would absolutely recommend. And the coffee from the place near by is amazing! Also the feast in the evening prepared by malee? Priceless! (And actually included in the price)
