A nice farm feel and beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Very quiet and peaceful place. Great for a family. Kayaks available for hire. Breakfast very fresh and good.

The location was very good in Shiroka, with a beautiful view of Shkodra Lake. The room was comfortable and spacious with a private bathroom and AC. The staff were nice and spoke in English and communication was good too. We had a fantastic breakfast with a croissant too :) We had to leave early at 5.30am one of the mornings to catch the Komani Lake Ferry and they were very accommodating and even prepared us a breakfast for take away. The owner also works in a restaurant by the lake and it was also really tasty. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect and beyond… We only spent one night, had dinner and breakfast there, but at the end of our stay in Albania, after having visited most of the cities, this experience with Johnny and his family will remain engraved as one of the best memories of Albania. A warm welcome filled with kindness and the desire to treat guests like their own family. It’s indescribable… These are moments to be lived and felt, not easily explained! A family-run place with a few rooms… A restaurant offering simple and authentic cuisine with fresh seafood and vegetables, fruits, eggs, butter, honey, etc., all from their own production. Everything is organic, and you can feel it on the plate. Bravo! I was disappointed by some aspects of Albania in certain places, but this place is a perfect example for all Albanians who want to succeed in the hotel and restaurant business… Simplicity and authenticity… No tricks, and with respect for the natural environment. Johnny and his family have understood it all. I congratulate and encourage them to continue in this direction. If we come back to Albania, this is one of the two places we will definitely return to — and for more than just one night. .

The couple owning the place was very polite, caring and smiling. The breakfast included was fresh homemade and with some traditional surprise every day, such as homemade pie. The view of the lake was fantastic, the room full of light due to many windows, with thick curtains for the sunny hours. Also, willing to help with anything that our 7month old baby might need, such as preparation of food. Wish we had more days to spent there!
