Very central to the things we wanted to see/do while we were in Santo Domingo, Jhonny was an amazing host who helped us with everything we needed, recommended places to go for breakfast etc and offered to help us move our rental car if there was ever a space open in front of the hostal. Couldnt recommend it more if you’re going for a day or 2 to Santo Domingo

Great location. 5 minutes walk to the largest grocery store in town. Lots of restaurants ( more expensive than home in Quebec!) About a 10 minute walk to the beach. Our apartment was comfortable. The owner, Antonio, was most attentive. We asked for a couple of items for the kitchen, and he purchased them the same day we requested them. He was quick to reply to our needs/ questions via WhatsApp. The pool was clean and we had comfortable lounge chairs.
