Zoi is an outstanding host, so helpful, communicative, kind and easy to be around. She also has a beautiful energy 😍 Communication was easy through whatsapp, and made easier because she spoke English! The unit is thoughtfully constructed, very clean with much appreciated air-conditioning for hot days, a water filter, mini fridge, spacious shower, warm lighting and a mini couch to hang out on. One could absolutely stay here for weeks to recover from travelling with some relaxation with modern comforts and aesthetic harmony with the nice fit out..a break from fluoro lighting, plastic chairs and bad decor in hostels has been a welcome touch of luxury here!! They provide helpful touches like sugar, salt, oil and soap, a towel and a little Google map guide of places in Ayampe. The unit itself is away from the main road and on a quiet little driveway, and a close walk to the township. Zoi is a true professional host who cares for her guests with absolute pride and the place is very good value for money.

Featuring city views, Hostal Olmito Canoa features accommodation with patio, around a few steps from Canoa Beach. Great location, good facilities, and amazing host! We got a free upgrade of the room and a little bonus are the seaviews from their balconies. I would love to come back one day!

A few steps from Puerto Lopez Beach, Café Madame is a recently renovated property set in Puerto López and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. What a wonderful staff. They helped us get book our activities, fed us wonderful food, and answered all of our questions. We had everything we needed right next to the beach. Quiet and clean. We hope to be back soon. Great hotel located a 3 minute walk to the center of everything. It was great to be close to everything but not right in the middle of all the super loud music. Beds are super comfortable, the wifi worked great (which was a pleasant surprise) and the breakfasts are delicious. The shower also had BOTH hot water and pressure.
