The location was perfect! A beautiful view out, quiet little beach area with picnic table to watch the local Seals. John was so very friendly, but also gave us privacy too, a perfect balance. The cabin was toasty warm even though it was windy and cold outside. The ability to wash clothes was a huge bonus for us...and a pair of binoculars to gaze out.

Set in Flashader, 20 km from Dunvegan Castle, Cottages Lyndale Farm has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. We loved everything about our stay! We were in The Pantry, which is a one BR unit that has a separate living space and separate kitchen/breakfast area. After traveling for a bit, having three whole rooms plus a bathroom was amazing! There was also a patio with outdoor seating. Everything felt very fresh. Very comfortable large bed. Updated and lovely bathroom. I used the available washer and dryer, both of which worked very well - didn't have to hang any clothes to get them to dry all the way. The property was so beautiful to explore, all the way down to the rocky beach. We saw one of the most stunning sunsets over the water - complete with sheep silhouetted on the ridge! Helen was very kind and welcoming, plus easy to reach for any needs. Portree was not far, 15-20 minutes at the speed we were comfortable driving. Do watch for potholes on Skye generally.

Situated in Hallin in the Isle of Skye region, An Cala Beag Self Catering apartment on The Waternish Peninsula features a garden. I will start with the beginning, they greet us in person even though we were really delayed and arrive late. They were always checking if everything was okay with us and then when we arrived they had for us fresh homemade bread, cookies and jam, which were amazing. The place was amazing, they thought about everything that you could ever need and even all the adaptors and outlets were tested and approved. It was always warm and comfortable, the bed was also great for a well needed rest. The view. This was one of the best topics, it has a panoramic window on the living area in which you can have breakfast or a drink looking at the sunset or sunrise with the ocean in front of it. The hosts. They always were open to help us in everything that we could need and advised us on things to do in the island.
