Offering a terrace and views of the sea, The Olive Yard is set in Gytheio in the Peloponnese Region, 50 km from Kalamata. Monemvasía is 44 km from the property. Absolutely lovely experience. Staff were friendly and hospitable. The room had amazing views of the surrounding landscape, perfect for sunrise and balcony breakfast - our favorite part. The property/hotel is very picturesque, and the room is beautifully decorated and clean. It's a great location for day trips and is very close to the largest town in the region, with numerous food options. We would go out of way to stay here again. 100% recommend.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and the bed and furnishings were comfortable. Lea also supplied many extras such as farm fresh eggs, oranges and wine. Although not in the old town it was a short pleasant walk to the old town and harbour using a pedestrian path. The neighbourhood was quiet with bakeries and grocery stores near by.

We loved our stay at Monodendri and will return next year for sure. The location is ideal, near the village but not right inside. The sea was on our doorstep, we sat on our veranda and soaked in the view. The apartment was perfect in size with great aircon, comfy beds and espresso machine. The staff were so friendly and warm. Our stay was perfect and we didn't want to leave.
