Offering sea views, Amfriwen Homestay in Yennanas Besir offers accommodation, a private beach area and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. I booked 8 days here. I went diving for three days on the Pulau Gam and snorkeled daily on Friwen. They are about a 10 mins boat ride. The Homestay is rustic. There are two beds covered with mosquito net. They are totally fine but somehow one would get in every night. It’s an island at the equator, there are mosquitoes. Also geckos! That’s part of the adventure. The room has an interior slide lock and there’s a clipping lock with a key for locking when you’re away. Honestly I never locked my place. The island seems very safe. Kids playing, most of the folks on the island are involved in tourism, though they don’t speak much English. It wasn’t an issue. I traveled solo and spent most afternoons in the hammock, reading, writing or napping. The food was amazing, delicious, the cook is very sweet and calls you to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The fresh fish is caught daily. Vegetables and rice, very delicious and all included. Large quantities. Box lunches are available if you are diving all day. Bananas are snacks. Unlimited instant coffee, tea, hot water. The island is stunning. Sunsets amazing. The reef has more life to see while snorkeling than most places (Europe, Caribbean, US, Latin America) have to see while scuba diving! I saw turtles, squid, dolphins playing, reef sharks and millions of coral. A not about cash and other fees: you will need ~140,000 to take a ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Then you’ll need 600,000 to ride each way from Waisai to Friwen (this can be divided with others, provided there are other riders.). On Waisai, you’ll have to buy a Marine Park pass and an entry pass, in total 1,000,000. So you’ll need around 2,250,000 in cash (be prepared bc the pass can be purchased online, or card but sometimes their system is down and you have to pay cash). In Sorong airport there are four ATMs, most of them don’t work well. There are ATMs on Waisai but you have to ride a motorcycle to them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Not only did the accommodation exceed our expectations, our host also went above and beyond to ensure our stay in the area everything we wanted it to be. I can honestly say our time there wouldn’t have been half as good if it wasn’t for Husna, she knew all the right people across the region. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, so much so I wouldn’t bother searching for any other accommodation when I eventually return.

Everything was so lovely. The family that runs this place is so welcoming and warm. They assist you with everything you need, the food is excellent and the place is magical

Facing the seafront in Besir, GAM BAY bungalow's features a private beach area and a garden. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Amazing location. The view from the rooms was stunning! Aron, the owner, is a really kind and helpful guy, friendly and keen to help in anything you need. The food was good, and overall, the experience was wonderful. As a place in a remote island like this, you can't expect the best facilities but they were in good condition and clean. The bungalows, bathrooms, and dining area are well cared out and clean. There are nice spots around the island to watch the sunset and do snorkeling. They also offer great tours around the area.

Our stay at Amoryg Resort in Mansuar was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The location is stunning, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the amazing service we received from the entire team. A special thank you to Ramdhan for his attentiveness and warm hospitality, he made us feel at home every single day. Oyen impressed us with his snorkeling guidance and caring attitude, every outing was magical thanks to him. Afri was always there with a smile, offering outstanding assistance at any hour, and his energy and kindness truly stood out. And Andy, with his friendly presence and helpful nature, made everything easier and more enjoyable. Every member of the team went above and beyond, and we left with unforgettable memories and full hearts. We’re already dreaming of coming back one day. Thank you for everything!

Frances Homestay - Raja Ampat is located in Pulau Mansuar. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. Towels and bed linen are provided in the homestay. The property offers sea views. We had a wonderful stay at Frances homestay. You can see the sunset from your bed. The room is really large. The food is plentiful and varied. It's great to be in contact with the locals like this. The children are also very sweet and helpful. In the village, you can clearly see how the locals live, and you can easily take walks to explore part of Mansuar. Esmee was also very helpful from a distance. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!

Facing the seafront in Kri, Gibran Dive Guest House has a private beach area and a garden. The property features sea and mountain views. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gibran guesthouse located in Kri island. The ocean view rooms are just above water and you can just junp into the ocean from your porch ready to snorkel. The room and the common areas were clean The toilet is outside the room. The food is good and quantities are enough. They told us that in July they wikk do some renovation work in the rooms. The service was perfect and we did a couple of excursions with the team. They were very attentive with my 73 years old father. We recommend this Guesthouse. Thank you very much.
