Sunset Guest House & Bar está em frente à praia em Bunaken e tem um bar e uma área de praia privada. this homestay was really really nice. the food 3x a day (7-9am, 12.30pm, 7.30pm) is soooo good. best food i had in indonesia, and different meals each time. Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

The room is simple and has everything you need. Keep in mind that there is no hot water (most places on the island lack this) and a fan for airconditioning.

We had a great time at Amanda's White House. She upgrade our room to the apartment with no additional costs. The White House is superb, beautiful, lovely decorated and all the staff is friendly as our host Amanda. All the meals were included and every time excellent. Complimentary bikes, canoes and also 90 minutes snorkeling tour.

He will always take care of your needs, and help you with anything. If you are wise enough to have Stefan guide you for boat tours and to take you snorkeling, you will have the best possible time. He is patient, knows the best times to go to different places, if possible will wait for other boats to leave so you have a more personal experience with the dolphins or the turtles, etc. Stefan’s family is lovely and will make you the best meals, always respecting your dietary choices. If you are very lucky Stefan might bring out his guitar after dinner.

The Queens Villa is the pearl of North Sulawesi ! I’ll start with the food. You don’t eat at Queens Villa, you dine. The food is prepared from start to presentation by master chefs. They take great care and pride in their work and will always visit your table to be sure everything is excellent. They even take notice of what you don’t eat so they know what you like. Meals are served around the three tiered pool that is crisp and clean and no chlorine ! A beautiful water falls with soft lighting brings a soothing atmosphere. The property is always occupied by many artist always making wonder wood works, fountains and flora that feels like the garden of Eden. Dinners and evening are a great mix of international artist and travelers sometimes great conversations sometimes musicians playing guitars and drums, flutes and on occasion Karaoke singing! They have a complete network of drivers, guide and business people all around Sulawesi. If you don’t want to carry cash around the village and boats and on tours you can just tell them your hotel and they will send the bill to Medi and Julieanna. They can arrange any kind of tours and excursion tailored to your likes, so you don’t need to pay for packaged tours that you don’t want and at a great price. They are the only ATM on the island at this time which is really convenient. And the most important part for me is the dive shop. Local guides with eagle eyes and fantastic skills!!! Again, very wonderful prices and equipment. Indonesia in my opinion is the greatest dive sites on our planet right now and Bunaken is right up there with Raja Ampat and their reefs and dive sites are just minutes away on a boat. And for turtle lovers, this is by far the turtle haven of our planet bar none!!! My favorite by far!!!!!

Firstly, the staff here is unbelievably kind and helpful. Special mention to the hostess Sellyn. She made my stay at 4 sisters feel like a home away from home and felt like an instant friend. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfy,and the property has several beautiful sitting areas with reliable wifi. The meals were great and were served in large portions. The Dive logistics here are amazing. Walk down the stairs in the morning and hop right on the dive boat that’s parked about 20m from where you’ll eat breakfast. My gear was always already on the boat waiting for me. The dive gear is in good shape, the dive guides phenomenally talented, and the dive sites are out of this world, and usually no more than a five to 10 minute boat ride away.

They were incredibly accommodating and the fresh caught fish dinner and her many sauces were amazing!! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Bunaken, we wish we could have stayed longer!
